Mental Health Training for ODE’s Coaching Permits

There are two modules to this training.

• High School Student Athletes and Mental Health
• Depression ADHD and Anxiety in High School Student Athletes

The two modules require about one hour to complete.

The assessment requires about 30 minutes.

1. Purchase the ODE’s Coaching Permit Training below
2. Your account information will be emailed to you the next business day.
3. Once you receive your account information log on to AthleteTalk
   • Press the plans icon
   • Scroll down to High School Student Athletes Mental Health
4. Here you will see the High School Student Athletes and Mental Health and Depression ADHD and Anxiety in High School Student Athletes
   • Users can listen to or read the plans as often as they like
   • Users are encouraged to take notes in the journal section.
   • The notes are stored under the more tab under journal.
5. Once the plans are completed click on the assessment tab. Here you will see the Mental Health Training for ODE’s Coaching Assessment.
6. Complete the assessment.
   • A score of 80 or above is required to receive your training certificate.
   • The assessment can be taken up to five times to achieve a passing score.
7. Once a score of 80 or above is completed a training certificate will be emailed to the same email address used for the AthleteTalk app account.

Additional Information

• Users have access to AthleteTalk & all plans for 30 days from date of purchase
• The assessment must be completed, and a passing score earned before this time
