(San Antonio, TX) October 25th 2023 During the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships (MEAC) at Delaware State University, AthleteTalk will provide all student-athletes and coaches with access to mental health and wellness content. This is the first athlete digital mental health activation at an NCAA member conference championship.
Between October 26th and 28th, MEAC student-athletes will “compete” against each other, by completing mental health plans, sharing quotes, facts, and strategies to their social media, and completing wellness workouts. The male athlete, female athlete, and coach atop of the leaderboard at the end of the championship will be awarded AthleteTalk Wellness “Game Changer” chains.
Delaware State University and Norfolk State University are currently mental health partners with AthleteTalk.
